Ben Eisenstein, president of the Saddlebrooke Ranch Astronomy Club has invited any interested member of the SkyGazers to attend a presentation, *Seeking water/life on the moons of the Solar System" by Dr Jessica Weber, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This is on Friday, Dec 27 at 3:00 PM in the La Mesa Room in the La Hacienda Club (original clubhouse) at Saddlebrooke Ranch.
Dr. Jessica Weber is a Research Scientist working at the NASA JPL. She is a chemist and astrobiologist working to understand the limits of organic chemistry on planetary bodies, including Mars, Venus, and ocean worlds. Jessica works in the Origins and Habitability Lab (OHL). Jessica received her B.S. in Chemistry from University of Chicago and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from MIT. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and scuba diving.
